Cauliflower is a versatile vegetable with a dense, white head made of immature flower buds, known as the "curd". As a member of the brassica family (like broccoli and cabbage), it can be eaten raw or cooked and is a good source of vitamins C and K, as well as folate. It has a mild flavor but can develop a strong odor if overcooked.
